A widget is an online program that provides customized information and can be easily added to your Web site. It automatically updates, so it requires no maintenance by you.

"Personal" Public Service Announcements (PPSAs)

In 2008, CDC partnered with the University of Georgia's New Media Institute and Verizon Wireless to sponsor the creation of "personal" public service announcements (PPSAs) by teams of students from six universities. Click on the links below to launch each PPSA. A new browser window will pop up where you can watch the video. We encourage you to use the embed code to place the video(s) on your Web site or blog to support NHTD.

    Getting an HIV test shows you care about yourself and your partner. It's part of a loving relationship.

    You are at risk for HIV. The only way to know for sure is to get tested.

    Test for yourself. Know your HIV status so you can protect yourself and others. Today, with early treatment and care, you can live a longer and healthier life.

    Do you know your HIV status? An HIV test is not part of a routine exam. Ask for it.

    Taking an HIV test can be simple and easy. And remember that women are not immune to HIV.
